Hey folks,
I am looking to join your ranks and get my first Porsche. I know I am shopping in the middle of a pricing bubble, but I sold my M3 and am now only driving my 4Runner, so I am getting itchy. I've been looking for a while and am prepared to wait for the cold weather and launch of the 991 for more inventory and/or better prices, but it would be great if I could find something soon. I have track time pre-paid in October and no car to drive!
Budget: <$70K, but I am not really going that high unless someone has a nice 6-speed 09.
Must haves:

Must haves:
- Gotta be an S
- 6-speed
- No accidents
- Heated seats
- 20K miles or less (maybe a few thousand more if perfect in every other way, or really cheap)
- Supple leather
- Gray or blue interior
- Aero or any other body kit
- I really want something other than black, silver, gray but could be convinced with a sweet interior, great price or other option combo sweetness. Bonus points for speed yellow.
- Sport seats - manual or adaptive
- Full leather - I really, really want it, but have already tried to buy two cars without it, so not a deal breaker.
- I LOVE two-tone interiors. enough to sway me on exterior color
- Not scared of well done mods - especially if seller has stock parts
- Don't love wood, but don't hate it either
- Don't really care about nav, chrono, or any of the other options beyond their effect on resale down the road. In other words, if it is a low option car, I will expect to pay less, but it won't keep me from buying it.

speed yellow is so cool but so few cars....two within 100 miles of me.
I would add a base 997.2 to the list, especially if it has PASM.
good luck in search.

+1 on looking at a base 997.2 C2. If it has PDK and PASM that will make it a nice, quick car to have. There is nothing wrong with white and Cocoa interior either for a different color combo. Patience and a willingness to go anywhere for the right car are key to the buying process.
