Seapar-I know you have the Sharkwerks Bypass w/o PSE and have done a side by side with another C4S at an event. Bottom line, does it make enough of a difference to add it without PSE?

Well, as a first stage it is a low priced mod; not as inexpensive as a gundo hack; but I saved the center muffler for the 997.2 P-car and it is an easy return to stock if you transfer CPO or trade in for the 991 (LOL);

If the car is not "loud" enough for your neighborhood you can always add on more stuff; ask Alex at Sharkwerks how the "progression" might go.

ask lowpue if he could hear a difference from stock. send him a PM . He was there at the DE event earlier this month while we revved side by side. I dont think we made those GT3 folks look up one bit.

I am thinking about adding awe 200 cats. How much horse power gain? Any loss in torque? How easy is it to install?

I put a set of sport cats on an otherwise stock 996 once and the sound was perfect. You might want to try the cats first.

911cslover, if you haven't done the Gundo Hack yet, which I almost thought about doing myself until I researched it more, I Reccommend that you head to Fabspeed in Ambler PA which is close by and take a look at what these guys got going on! I'm here today getting a full exhaust system; headers, mufflers, cats, and tips and I got to say, what a class act setup! Not only do you get a awesome tour of the place, but yo see all the great work they are working on. The most friendliness staff that caters to while you wait. Met the guy who made the exhaust, David, Jay, Tony, and the other guys I met which I forgot there names, where spot on with there info and were honest and trustworthy! That's priceless! Again, I was the guy that swore I wouldn't do anything to my Porsche, but that went right out the window! Plan on coming back to have a exhaust system installed on my 2012 Panamera Turbo S when I take delivery of it. Btw, these guys will ship your exhaust back to your house in case you decide to get rid of your car, you can go right back to stock!

First, the stock sound is frankly disappointing...and Yes, did side by side with Seapar with idential cars. His Sounded much better, particularly when you let off the throttle, it has a nice throaty sound. Everyone else listening all liked the sound change. I am likely to do the same but will check with how it impacts warranty. I like the fact that it is a reversible process back to stock if I sell. I would love to do a Gundo hack comparison at some point. I just have this feeling it is a slippery slope and one never is satisfied.

It would be interesting to see the HP and torque curves from Sharkwerks for before and after if they have them.
