LED Taillights upgrade - fit loose in corner - help please

I just installed a set of Dectane LED taillights, I removed the middle screw in the taillight bracket, removed the OEM taillight, inserted the LED taillight, and no matter how I move it in there I am unable to get it to fit snug in the edged corner, (opposite of the end of the 2 edged end with the bolt hole.)

I don't have the tool to unscrew the other 2 bracket screws at the moment, are they able to tighten the fit up a bit?
As you can wiggle the taillight at the pointy end on each one, anybody else have this issue?

Are you sure the bracket on the "Pointy end" is properly captured by the retaining post? If not, you may not have pushed the pointy end towards the car as you slid it into place from the rear. The pointy end is retained independently of the other end.

I slide it in at the pointy end where it is snug, then go to screw the bolt in the other end but there is a gap too much. So in order to have the bolt screw in to the hole I had to bring the Taillight back a bit and then it is loose at the pointy end. Hope that is a clear explanation

Perhaps a good photo of each end of the fixture would help us understand your issue.

That totally helped. I didn't see the retaining post until you told me
Thanks! (repped)
