Anyone know if Possible add aftermarket amplified and woofer on existing PCM on my 997.1s?

 

yes, i dont know the name or mfg, but there is new units that take the pre amp output of the head unit, by the optics and converts it to normal audio out signal. You have to go check at car stereo shops

 

Yes, you can do that. Rod Birch of Car Audio Innovations can give you a wealth of information and options for you. The site is www.caraudioinnovations.com. I have talked to him a few times, but I have not bitten the bullet on the modifications (been lef mostly stock).
