Exclamation Faulty Low Oil Warning ?

For the second time in four weeks, several hundred miles into a lengthy drive at average speeds on major highways (and with nominal readings for both oil temp and pressure), I have received a low oil warning.

Pulling over, and giveing the engine few minutes to "settle", the sensor on the stalk reads full.

Thoughts ? Anyone aware of a possible warranty issue with the sensor, or possibility that the "low" warning may be caused by an overfull condition ?

Thank you.

PS - I have never loved the dipstick on my '63 356 B T6 as much as I do now

That error comes up every once in awhile when i start the engine...All i do is turn the engine off and back on and the error goes away. Should take the car in and let someone take a closer look at it?
