We know that, but we're trying to find a black urethane lip for less than $200+ noted on Suncoast website.

wingnut2u / HATTRICK - what are your thoughts on the FVD lip?

How does it do wear & tear wise? I heard it's better than factory, but wanted to make sure.

Do you really think it looks more aggressive than stock? Only thing I noticed is that it seems to match black cars much better (less plasticy looking than stock).

How long does it take to install? Thanks!

i got the fvd lip with no holes. looks more aggressive than oem. the only complaint i have against it (if i can even call it one) is that it seems a little "shinier" than the stock lip. I've never seen a new oem lip to compare against. I'm thinking after a little wear from the road, the shiny sheen will go away.

installation was a cinch. took 10 min

Do I need a lift to install (or is it easier with one)?
What are the instructions to remove the old one and install? I searched but couldn't find it.

I have a lowered C2 with the aero bumper. I scrape the lip just about very trip out no matter how careful I am. Thanks for the info on this thread. I am looking for a black rubberized plastic one. Do they make a modified one that doesn't hang so low? I think that would be much better for every day driving.

Don't worry about scraping so much because they lips are somewhat flexible and at that price they are relatively disposable. The Motorsports version comes folded up in a box so its able to take the abuse to a degree. I'm told by others here that the cup lip is more flexible than the stock version so it may take a few more scrapes before its broken but its lower by a inch or so, that may need to be taken into consideration.

I am just about to order 2 of them so i have one in stock as a spare so if they are all sold out maybe I can give you one of mine.. I think they have lots of them and for the price I think its got to be one of the cheapest parts for the car- possibly for a reason

Everyone scrapes, You get to know where that lip is in relation to the curbs and can judge where to go and where not to go after awhile. I've been driving lowered cars since I had my license , My first ever car was lower than this and I think I get a good idea after a few years what I can and cant do. Just buy two
