If your really having a problem with it then another option for you is to get the Techart nose lift kit.

take a look into this thread or search for nose lift system.

with all honesty for the price of the front lip its not really a big deal to scrape once in a while. I think the cup lip is 1" lower but more flexable than oem - Hope this helps abit. Good luck with it.

What are the instructions to remove the old one and install? I searched but couldn't find it.
The bottom of the FVD lip rests exactly 4 inches above the pavement. I scrape it daily. I keep glossy black paint on hand and every Saturday when I check tire pressures and go over the car, I fill in the scrape marks.

It takes 5 mins to install. No need for a lift. Pull from the side of the front bumper cover and it pulls right out. The tabs on the new lip fit right into the bumper cover mold.

Installed --

I will try to get pics uploaded from my iphone--- Racinglab.com delivered this on Saturday (WOW).

It is "different" from the stock one - but it solves a REAL problem for me - I could not get the car up and down the driveway without scrapping 90% of the time!

Pictures are located here: http://gallery.me.com/frank.ball#100216

201.xx delivered - ordered on Tuesday - delivered on Sat (California to Georgia) - Impressive!
