Autos for sale gone crazy?
I saw the posting.
I don't think filtering for only private listings is the entire answer. There are many dealer listings that are 'appropriate' and they don't skew the landscape because they are only listing a few cars. There is only one obvious offender who floods the forum with what looks like his entire catalog.
All I'm suggesting, is for the seller to use a little judgement and post the 5 cars that are 'in scope' for this forum instead of the 20 that aren't. I used to browse the for sale forum every day (and bought my previous 996TT on there).
Is there a way to filter against the listings from a particular poster? That's a filter I can get behind

I agree 100%...the new dealer who is flooding the board changes the whole dynamic. Based on what I just saw over there, I will not be going back to that portion of the site, just too commercial. It is a shame as this was a good resource. If you look at renlist...same thing happened (dealer that starts with S and ends with N posted entire inventory) and now the entire classifieds there are basically broken.
I can understand the desire to monetize the classifieds, but if you do it in the wrong way you kill the golden goose...6speed needs to keep the balance.
Personaly, I would put some limits around those guys...even if it means refunding all or a portion of their board sponsor $$'s.

good comments...I'll make sure it goes upstairs but their answer previously was to filter the ads...I've already had one run in with the biggest offender when he started posting links to all his classifieds in the open forums
