Im still to scared to do it i heard you have to yank on the boot or whatever with both hands half ur body out the sunroof both feet planted on the floor lol

The only hard part is removing the **** from the shaft. You just need leverage. Really, it's very doable.

I have done it. Just be careful not to smash yourself in the forehead when the original one pops off. Mine took a lot of force to yank up. If you are not tall, you can straddle the console. But seriously, protect your forehead! DOH!

Is not hard. Maybe 5 mins.
Remove / Unclip and pull loose the boot.
Turn the plastic nut below the **** on the shaft.
Pull up and out the **** with the boot.
Yes, watch your forehead and back.
Give it a try! There are lots of options, check out Suncoast site. X-51 maybe??
