Does anybody know if there's a hole or a access panel......

On the firewall so I can run a wire through it? I have a 08 997.1 Carrera S. My Mobridge was installed in the trunk near the Nav unit and I have had my iPod in the trunk along with the bluetooth and it works perfectly, but I want the iPod inside now and was wondering if I can snake the wire through the wall.

there is a rubber grommet behind the battery that everyone uses to run wires from the trunk to interior.

Plus 1 for that grommet. You need to remove the battery and then kind of infront of the driver you will see a big black rubber grommet.
Why not just use a flash drive and leave in the frunk.
