going back to dealer, new issues..

Hi All,

Going back tot he delaer tommorrw, these are the new issues. I was changing the oil on Saturday and found this;

1) leaking rear driver side shock
2) small leak of oil between transmission and engine
3) first gear to hard to enter
4) sunroof goes to close but them comes back
5) when i turn the steering all the way and advance, it's as if the car makes a noise with the universal front joints....weird. the car id a 4S, so it might be the joints...

Keep you all informed.

3) is normal. 5) can also be normal. My car does this when I back it out of the garage. I think it's the tires.

Antonio 997:

WHat model and year is your car? How many miles? What size and brand of tires do you have on it?

This happens when sunroof is removed/replaced. It just needs to be reset. Press & Hold the 'Close' button for 10 seconds and keep holding button down. The sunroof will start the process to reset the open/close position. Once it opens all the way then closes back it will be done.

Do what dallascajun said to do & do it every 2-3 months & you will not have any further problems. Also do the same thing with your windows & anybody w/ a Cabriolet should follow the same advise with the top.

Check #2 for possible RMS failure. That is the one that concerns me the most.
