hey guys ! new to the forum
^^that sticker is redic i would not do it ! also i had an e90 (thats the four door) i also should tell you guys i work for the dealer but in service...they were giving out a an employee deal a year ago car msrp was 58 and they gave me 10k off....reason for that discount BMW is getting killed with the M3 they cant give them away (at least the four door)...and the vert forget about it it was even cheaper !!!!!!! monthly payments on a 70 plus vert.....400 a month gotta work for the dealer tho haha
and also the four door m3 was just discontinued in early oct. so those deals are long gone the m3 coupes are prices but 74 is still way to high if anyone is interested i might be able to help out on prices lmk, however i am not a sales guy but i can put u in contact with the right guys and if you go to world wide bmw ( no affiliation ) they had a deal on a e92 M3 coupe 530 a month dct fully loaded....were talking lease deals as well. also mind you this was last year 2011.5 not 2011.75
Hey guys i just traded in my 11' M3 for my first 911, its an 07 Carrera S, and it was a great choice and such an amazing car better all around in every aspect. I do have a few noobie questions though, i am looking into getting a set of CCW classics or LM20. i really just wondering will they fit ? if any of you guys have had experiences with the fitment of CCW's etc do the 18inch wheels even fit ? Also I'm a little confused about all this talk about narrow body vs wide body, please if any one can explain a little bit better i mean i get the offsets are dif. but what would be the big deal ? wouldn't the wide body wheels be more aggressive wider track etc. or were talking about the fact the wide body offset wheels will rub more more fit etc ? just trying to set up the c2s for an aggressive wheel fitment for track and street.
TIA guys
TIA guys
Welcome, you will love the 911, I did the same in trading in my 11 M3 for the GTS. Night and day brother!
Thanks guys ! i will get pics asap...the switch from the M to a P-car well...i owed 41 on my M and they gave me 52...WOW i took the deal and ran i only paid 48 for the M BRAND NEW and since it was a 2011 they didnt have a book value on it so i kinda made them guess LOL, anyways the reason i jumped to a 911 is because ive always wanted a p car and never thought id own one, so when a chance like this came up i jumped on it. The M was a great car and fun to drive, nice as a daily etc. but once you step foot into a porsche its a totally diff ballgame everything is ten million times better...handling, feel, interior, its nimble it sounds awesome it shifts like a million bucks ( bmw = notchy, and grinds all the time) the list goes on and on. I've done a few track events in the m3 and loved it and honestly a great car, but a 911 **IS** the benchmark and it certainly feels like it.
I recall reading that when the 997.1 series were created, the designers and test drivers recommended 18" wheels but the marketing guys liked the look of the 19" and so those became the default. But most people who track the car recommend the 18" wheels as well, so you've got a good plan.
Re NB versus WB, the 'S' is a NB car (as is the non-S, and the GT3). There is a subtle difference in width at the outermost part of the rear fenders, as well as the rear hub to hub width. The wheels have different offsets (I believe), but there are many 18" NB wheels to choose from out there.
Congrats on the new acquisition and a great upgrade from an M3. Of course, I'm a bit biased

I can make out half of what you're laying down here. Looks to be a mixture of short text and writing.
