hey guys ! new to the forum
Hey guys i just traded in my 11' M3 for my first 911, its an 07 Carrera S, and it was a great choice and such an amazing car better all around in every aspect. I do have a few noobie questions though, i am looking into getting a set of CCW classics or LM20. i really just wondering will they fit ? if any of you guys have had experiences with the fitment of CCW's etc do the 18inch wheels even fit ? Also I'm a little confused about all this talk about narrow body vs wide body, please if any one can explain a little bit better i mean i get the offsets are dif. but what would be the big deal ? wouldn't the wide body wheels be more aggressive wider track etc. or were talking about the fact the wide body offset wheels will rub more more fit etc ? just trying to set up the c2s for an aggressive wheel fitment for track and street.
TIA guys
TIA guys

Welcome.
For the 997, the wide body cars are the AWD models. I am not sure about what tires and wheels might fit your car but do a search in this forum and you may get some helpful info.
Enjoy your car.

Not sure of W/B wheels will fit w/o rubbing. I know that the new speedster wheels are for W/B only.
Oh, and welcome aboard.

Either way you must have taken a rather large hit on depreciation trading in a <1 year old ride. Porsche bug must have bit you hard eh? As long as you're happy now, we're all happy too
x2. M3 is a great car, did you have coupe or vert? I was impressed with the paddle shifter DCT transmission on the Jerez Black M3 coupe I sampled last month, much better than the steering wheel mounted buttons of the 1st generation PDK IMHO. I was confounded by the 5 or 6 different transmission settings though. Sport, Sport Plus, Sport Plus Plus or something to that effect LMAO.

Congrats on getting the car. I sold my M3 earlier this year too and just purchased my C4S. After owning the M3 for 2 years, the C4S still gets my blood boiled when I step on the gas, especially with my new Cargraphic mufflers.
