I want to start off by thanking the board and it's amazing members. I learned so much in my quest for my first Porsche purchase. I hunted, and hunted, then I hunted abit more, and finally found the car with everything I want/need.

The car is still sitting at the dealership, but I will be picking it up in 2 weeks. I have some things in my schedule that I cannot change, so it will have to wait.

I don't know if I can take the wait though.

Anyway, here is a teaser shot. The marker lights are getting changed to clears.

More pixs to come soon! And thanks again folks!!!!!!!!

A few more pixs. I will list the spec sheet too.

It's just an amazing feeling knowing that little "SOLD" sign is all for me

The GTS I think is one of the best Porsches on the market today - I feel like it will hold its value particularly well too ... great color combo too - congrats my friend ...

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm beyond excited to get it. Anyway, here is some of the build sheet.

The car is pretty much exactly how I was gonna have one spec'd out. This car has a few more bells and whistles than I would have ordered, but all-in-all it was amazing how close it was to what I ideally wanted.

Its a 2012 6 speed.

Thanks!

No, I don't play guitar. Why do you ask that?

It is beautiful but I still don't understand why the aerokit is from the 997.1. I would assume they would give it the newer 997.2 gt3 kit. The newer wing would be nice.

Vintage tone is one of the great loves of many guitarists.
