Went to work and fell in love again....

So my shop has been slow, so i decided to get my car wet sanded and compounded.....shes never looked so good.

Can someone explain the pros/cons of "west sanding?" Do most detailers offer the service? Does it take anything off the clear c? Is it another means of polishing?

Car looks SPECTACULAR!

Any form of polishing shaves of a portion of the clearcoat. It is a matter millimicrons in thickness on the lesser abrasive polishes. Wet sanding (most detailers go to about 3000 grit) is best left in the hands of pros and should only be done when the paint has deep swirls, pitting etc after a good measurment of the paint thickness.

So effectively "wet sanding" is a more abrasive form of polishing - and therefore should be done only when it's really in need ... otherwise a polish will accomplish the same end result...

Looks great, not so sure about the tinted tails, just a bit too dark for me.
