Porsche Reputable Shops in OC For Tune ups?
Porsche Reputable Shops in OC For Tune ups?
Just got a check engine light on and the stealership is saying that I have misfires...on all 6 cylinders??
They are suggesting that the cause is by 6 bad spark plugs, and want a pretty steep price to replace them.
I rather do it outside for less and put that extra cash toward performance parts. Do you guys know any reputable shops in Orange County that does good work for reasonable prices?
Im leaning toward Autowerkes at this point. Pls advice.

You're lucky because there are several world class, indy P car shops in Orange County. The two that I would recommend to anyone, in a heart beat are:
Hergesheimer in Lake Forest is the shop that I trust. Not because I don't like the others, but because they're close, the owners are actually my neighbors, and they are big PCA sponsors. I have recommended them to several air and water cooled Porsche guys and never hears anything bad.

GMG is located in Santa Ana. I have not personally used them but they have an excellent reputation and I know several N. Orange County owners that swear by them.

If you haven't already done so, do yourself a favor... join the PCA. You'll likely get discounts on service at shops like these and you'll get a much wider audience of local P car owners to give you feedback (good, bad, or otherwise) on issues like this.
Good luck.

Agreed. Knowledgeable and very fair prices.
