Great looking car but the promotion of Beverly Hills Porsche rubs me wrong having followed this thread: http://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum...-poor-car.html

Note that the thread runs for 53 pages so it was no small affair.

 

Sorry, I know this is off topic... but 53 pages is a lot to go through... Was there a specific page or story you were referring to? I am sorry if you or some one else had a horrible experience at BHP.

Unfortunately, The truth is EVERY dealer/stealer has satisfied and dissatisfied customers. I also know that they do not treat every customer the same, because every customer is different. Some are high maintenance, some highly knowledgeable, and some could care less. Some customers are friendly and some are jerks. I tend to be a very meticulous, high maintenance/knowledgeable customer, but I also make friends very easily and spend time getting to know the guys behind the counters, in the sales dept, and in the garage that do work on my cars. Many of them know me by name and I spend a few minutes catching up with them and asking lots of questions and joking around. That's just me and it goes a long way when a special problem arises.

I used to work about a mile from Beverly Hills Porsche so I developed a nice relationship with the parts and service guys there over the years that I had warranty service done there. I always felt like I was treated respectfully and my cars were well taken care of. So I have only had good experiences with BHP. I will say the same about Rusnak Porsche in Pasadena. It's closer to where I currently work and they have been really great to me over the years as well. I like them very much and gotten to know a few service/technician guys very well. My experience with RPP has been great too and I enjoy going there, but I know this may not always be every customers experience.

a funny note. Having a couple of dealers that do work on your cars brings out the competition. On occasion in the past I have gotten my car back and they have removed the competitors license plate frame and placed their dealers plate on there in its place. competition is fierce.
