Can someone tell me if there is a 12 V connection under the front hood that is constant upon ignition? I am wanting to get power to my DRL's on startup. Can I splice into the CD changers connection? Is it 12v constant from ignition? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Why not take it straight from the battery and add a switch (ignition) to it.

 

Also be careful, modern cars read the draw on the lines and cutting into a wire may cause you more problems.
