Correct Wheel Offset, HELP PLEASE!

Can someone please tell me what wheel offset I should be using to accomodate a 305/30/19 Michelin PS2 tire on my 997S without rubbing issues? Will a et55 work for the rear or do I need to go with et58 or et60? Wheel is 19x11. TIA.

Is the car lowered or will you be lowering it?
19X11 +58MM 305/30/19 is a good application
without rubbing .
It is a good idea to roll the fenders so as not to have any reasons to rub.
I have done a 997 with 19x11 +50mm stock ride height no rubbing.

19x11.5 +56mm 305/30/19 works as well but rolling the fenders needs to be done.

Sounds like a great car good luck!

Thanks! Yes, car is lowered and I do not want an extreme fit either. I actually prefer the tires to be tucked in just a little. I will probably go with et58. I also noticed that you did a 19x11 et50..... is that correct? I would think that would stick out beyond the fender..... unless you stayed with a 295 tire.

the wheels I have on order are 19x11 et55. Will this offset work with a 305/30 tire?

It sounds to me like the application will be close to the fender lip @55mm with the 305. The 295 measures out to 26.0 O.D. and the 305 comes in at 26.2 so it is a little taller. The thing you need to consider is that different tires fit different even if they are the same size. The Michelins are big and blocky in the side wall and do not pull in but stand strait and are more likely to rub than say a Yokohama or Continental.

I just did a stock height 997 today with 19x11 @ 57mm and Michelin and I would say a 305 on a lowered car would be close to the inner fender no problem if you roll the fender but you said you wanted them to tuck and I think you will end up with it being at the edge of the inner fender lip.

It should be noted that the stock front wheel is a 19x8 @ 57mm
and most aftermarket parts are 19x8.5.
FYI
