Bluetooth for 2006 911 S
I have a Tooki in my 2006 911 S and it works great.
I've heard Dension and Mobridge work as well. I got mine from Eric at bumperplugs.
Also got my Dension ipod player from him. That works very well too.
Both of these really transform the car in the interior technology area. Highly recommend.

i installed nav-tooki together with serius xm radio on a 06s with no nav but i believe it's the same radio and screen as yours. not sure what the issue is but it works well, not great. i can hear folks fine but they cant hear me that well and i have tried all adjustments. the satelite radio is great but sometimes i lose the signal...more often than i would like.
i wish i went the route that would have given me an ipod jack as well which i didnt. overall i wish the bluetooth worked better because it is a pain to either drive and talk on the phone (stick) or have people tell me i sound like crap. it is my daily driver and if i had to do it over again would try something other than tooki...
i have never had a great experience with aftermarket bluetooth in any of my vehicles...maybe it's just me
i will say though that it has paid for itself and i am glad i have both in the car as opposed to not

where exactly do you mean over the wheel? mine is clipped between the roofline and windshield and about between my visor and the rearview mirror

I routed the microphone through the gap between the steering wheel and the bottom of the gauge cluster and then raised the steering wheel up to hold the mic in place.
I believe this is a very close location to the opening for he stock microphone for those that have the phone module. You should be able to see this on top of the steering column.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you'd like a picture.

Microphone is mounted at top of front windscreen, near rear view mirror.
Maybe it should've been installed in a different location, but I just live with it.
