Multifunction Steering Wheel Question...

Hi,

I currently have a manual 997 with a multifunction steering wheel. I am looking to buy a spare wheel that I will look to have re-trimmed. I have found a multifunction tiptronic steering wheel at a reasonable price. Does anyone know if I am able to simple remove the button faceplates from my manual wheel and replace it over the tiptronic buttons?! Are the multifunction buttons in the same place on both wheels?! Will all the buttons still work?

Thanks

I think it works, make sure you transfer the whole thing includes the wires, not just the buttons.

Ok thanks

Same question again but also found a non multifunction steering wheel. Is it possible to transfer everything from my multifunction to this (buttons, wiring, control unit)? Thanks
