Clean DME Overrevs Scan!

Well I purchased my first Porsche back in January --- my dream car, which I posted about shortly after picking up, here. It was CPO from the largest Porsche dealer in Canada, and therefore felt pretty confident in what I was buying.

I did not ask for a DME scan at the time (purely since I had never heard of it and did not know what it was) --- but since owning the car and reading more about the intricacies of this fine piece of engineering, I realized a lot of folks get this done prior to making a purchase.

Well my paranoia got the best of me so today I asked my sales rep if he had any DME details on file... To my relief he said this was part of the CPO inspection process and he was able to have their service tech pull it up. See attached screenshot. He said his tech told him, based on this scan, the car had to be babied and I had absolutely nothing to worry about... And based on what I've read I think that makes sense - but thought I'd post for any feedback. The car has about 20k miles on it, FYI.

Appreciate any quick thoughts --- I'm feeling pretty good about this but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything based on this data.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks - I agree, I'm not really too concerned, more-so just happy to have the data for my own peace of mind and knowing it wasn't abused. Love knowing the story behind the car!

Actually my sales guy was also able to get me a little history on the car as well, including some aftermarket work done at their tuning shop (painted calipers and tuned exhaust), and found that it originated in Plano, TX (USA car from Boardwalk Porsche). I also received a copy of the original options list and purchase price ($122k CDN back in 2005 - wow! )

Anyway hats off to the dealer (Pfaff Porsche) and my excellent sales rep (Maurizio Gatto -- (905)850-4551 - (C): (416)898-4133 - Email: mauriziogatto@pfaffporsche.com) for helping me track some of this down.
