First Porsche - Finally joining the ranks...

So, after lurking for quite some time I finally pulled the trigger on a 911. The rough options list is shown bellow.

2009 997.2, 50k miles, Manual
Power comfort seats w/memory
Porsche crest in head rest
Self dimming mirrors
Heated seats
Navi + iPod inteface adapter
Sport Chrono Plus Package
Aluminum dash dials
Sport Factory Exhaust

Thank you to those of you who have posted information regarding PPI's and what to check for. My research on this forum proved to be invaluable in my search for the right car. I initially almost purchased a car which had been tracked hard (really high range 1, and even some in range 5). This car checked out with only 213 ignitions in range 1 and none in any of the higher ranges.

My plan is to fly out to California this weekend to pay for the car and arrange for shipping.

Congrats! If your car had BBS wheels and H&R springs I'd be worried you were showing up to take my car away :-)

Where in Cali? Where in VA are you? I'm in Los Angeles and lived in NoVA. Go Wahoos

Thanks guys. The car is currently located in the bay area of Nor. Cal. and will be shipped to Arlington VA just outside of DC. My first mod will probably be smoked side markers followed by H&R springs which another member with a nearly identical car posted about.

The car is in Fremont CA, and I'll be staying in Oakland. My plan is to pick up the car on Sunday and drive it for a couple days then drop it back off and have it shipped back. Unfortunately due to work and timing I can't take enough time off to drive it back (which obviously would be ideal).

If anyone in the Nor. Cal. area is interested in meeting up and doing a drive through the mountains I'm game. I'll be in the bay area through Wednesday.
