darin and mark at fister d motorsports are awesome. Super fast and friendly... what a great experience and ohhh yeah... the exhaust is awesome. it sounds great with the cab up or down and definitely not too loud. it just sounds great and i feel like the car is going faster... although probably not. the sound is great at high rpm and super mellow cruising when you want it be. also the black tips and 5 mm spacers set it off very nicely. thanks again you guys!

Is it 5mm all 4 corners? Just curious, why not do 7mm upfront and like 10mm or 12mm in the rear?. Do you think it would've been too wide? I hear a lot of members going with that setup. Thanks!

Those guys have 5 mm in stock and they are only a little over $100 bucks for all 4. it utilizes stock bolts and is a mellow spacer but looks really nice with 5 mm on all cOrners. I figure I can always go bigger later and $100 was a nice price for a quick mild upgrade that looks so nice...

Chirosche....if I didn't go to Flintworks Sat for car service I would have met up with you at FD. I got my exhaust done Thursday. I love mine as well.

I've been hearing about these spacers lately.....what advantage do they give you? Are there any stress related issues with the wheel bearings?

Not sure I would use stock bolts....you need to check the safety of that....I have a longer set of bolts for my 5 mm spacers.

Fister guys seem to know what they are talking about.. But anyone else want to chime in on stock bolts with 5 mm spacers. I don't know the answer but I trust Darin not to put me in dangers way. And I don't know the wear and tear answer with spacers. But I would think that the bigger you go the more stress you put on parts.

Great to meet you yesterday CHIrosche. 5mm spacers are fine with stock bolts, but that is the max. Anything bigger than 5mm and you need longer bolts.
I'm glad you like the new exhaust!

FYI-FD Motorsports is actually Fister-DiPietro Motorsports (DBA FD Motorsports) for the two partners. People do get it mixed up because my user name is FisterD.

So just curious, how noticeable is the drive experience with the spacers? Do you actually feel a signicant traction gain in the turns? Or is it more for appearance?

IMHO no change to the handling characteristics. 5mm spacers offer a very subtle appearance change. I went to 7 mm front & 15 mm rears. They push the wheels/tires to a point just about flush w/ the fender. I sold my set of 5 mm spacers & bolts.
