Where to buy wheel studs?

I can't find anything clear on google. Where to buy some wheel studs and nuts? I'm tried of changing bolts when I switch wheels between track, summer and winters. So I'm thinking to get some studs to solve the problem this season. What is the good, bad and ugly about switch to studs? Sometime I use a 7/15mm spacers. What should I get?

Well, using a nipple stud creates two places that might loosen, and getting the first one tight without over-tightening the outer one is a pain, and... well, the 'ugly' is just built into the approach. Exposed nuts look like... well, I can't think of any 'good' to report.

What is it about the regular bolts that is enough trouble to be worth the change?

I haven't bought from these guys, but you could try starting here.

race-studs.com

I have a kit on my car, looks simple and makes things easier. The car came with them already, so I can't tell you were they came from.

The best ones are the pressed in wheel studs, such as these ones

I don't think a pressed in stud will work on a threaded hub. I do think they are less of a problem.

Race stud dot com seems to have the best choice. Performance, race and pro in black, silver and regular metal gold. I can still go back to bolts whenever. Tq to 80 lb/ft and red lock tight??

I'd suggest a torque in the 96 lb-ft range as that is the torque called for to secure the Porsche wheel bolts to the hub. I can't imagine using anything less.
