This video was taken in Russia where driving on a dry day can be an adventure. And no, the driver of the car that lost control and crossed the median was a whole lot of dead after it.

The snow wasn't the problem, the driver was. The driver was clearly trying to accelerate up that hill, then went off of the clearer pavement for no reason and put their tires into the slush, and instead of easing off the throttle as it started to slip, the person tried to accelerate out of it. Very poor snow driving techniques on many levels.

But RIP driver/passenger(s). I'll keep to myself whether I think that should be on this forum or not.

I agree with your observation on the 'cause' when i first saw the video. However, I think it's a bit insensitive to criticize the driver's skills. Even the best drivers make mistake.

We can all learn from this but, out of respect, I would leave comments on the drive's skill out of this.
