I just want to post this because I couldnt find anyone posting that they are using Motul Gear 300 in their 997.1.

After doing a bunch of research online and comparing the technical specs between the main transmission oils (Delvac M1, oem, Redline 75w-90NS & Motul Gear 300), I went with Gear300. Is in my C2S now for a week now, cold morning shifts are good (little less notchy in 1st & 2nd) and all the gates feels great.

I wanted something a touch better but not going too far off from oem specs since my gears are still great. The old factory gear oil still looked clean at 23k miles and 5 yrs. I recommend and will use this Gear 300 again. I'll report it here if anything doesn't feel right. I recommend to shop around for the price; they can be +/- $10 per bottle but you just need three for the job. Anyone else using Gear 300 75w-90 on their 997 Carrera?
