I've searched the forums for a different set of tips to replace my oval Carrera tips and today I found and ordered a set of matte black PSE-style exhaust tips. I ordered the tips with the sleeves to accommodate what would otherwise fit the "S" model.

The vendor, MaxSpeed MotorSports will be an official vendor here soon. Nello the owner could not have been better to work with.

In any case, I will have them Wednesday, unfortunately, the car will not be back from the shop until Friday.

With the car I'm going for the monochromatic look with my Gray Metallic Ruf rep wheels, matte black tips, black "911" badge to replace "Carrera".

I'll post pictures when they're mounted on the car.

Exhaust tips arrived very quickly - Wednesday. They're very impressive - large! The car hopefully gets home tomorrow from the shop - can't wait to mount the wheels/tires, exhaust tips and new badge. After that it's going to be another week before the appointment at Porsche to have the H&R springs installed.

The tips are really beefy - the outer tip measures 3.5" and the inner tip 3". I got the sleeves to fit since they're made for the "S" model.

Not yet. The car doesn't get out of the bodyshop until late today. I'm going to mount the wheels and tips tonight or tomorrow.

 

The sleeves came in today and I installed the tips. MAN, they look TERRIFIC!!!
