Wheel choice question/opinion

Hi

I have a 997.1 with the factory OEM AeroKit package. I'm currently running Carrera S II wheels in the standard silver. I'd like to have an additional set in black and like the available offsets of the Classics.

Question is this, would the Classics, with their retro look, work well with the Aero package? It's kinda the old with the new. Any thoughts or opinions?

Does anyone have pics of this set-up?

Thanks

if you are going to put money in wheels, buy custom aftermarket wheels, not standard factory wheels

I'm a stock wheel guy. I would never spend money on wheels or other non-performance mods.

It seems to be difficult finding aftemarket wheels with 57mm and 67mm offsets. I've tried aftermarket that are setting the wheels out an additional 15mm and I wouldn't have that out of fender look. A 56mm max rear offset is the max that I would do. I'm running 305's with 5mm spacers now and it's important to keep the tires pretty much flush with the fender, which it does now.

This car is somewhat modded now so just looking for an additional, different looking set of wheels to give it a new look, when desired.

Thanks for the replies. The lazy search continues.

Thanks

IMO, the sporty look of the aero kit needs a sporty wheel.

Thanks. I think I agree with that and will make my move in that direction.
