ROTtec Lighting - More Mods

I don't know if anyone has modded their lighting on their 997, however, today I ordered a few more items from Ray at ROTtec:

Front LED
Rear LED
"Cool White" HID Bulbs (to match front LED)
Side Markers HID
License Plate HID Bulb

I will have them next week and post them here.

The car gets a new stance on Monday with new H&R Coilovers. The "lighting will freshen the look and match the front LED to the headlights.

Nice, will definitely look great! but by HID side markers and rear bulb do you mean 6K White LEDS? because I cant see how a HID bulb will work for a side marker/license plate bulbs, as that will require a ballast and what not..

The HID and LED bulbs are direct replacement with OEM bulbs. The iB package (Cool White bulbs, side markers and license plate bub) comes with 2 cool white HID bulbs for low beam, 2 error free white color LED bulbs for side markers and 2 error free LED bulbs for license plate. No need for resistors, etc. for install.

Yeah, my mistake on the HID which is just the headlights - everything else is LED.

CHI - best to contact Ray but well over $1K for the f/r LED, HID Cool White to match the LEDs, LED side markers and license plate bulb.

Next up will be the LED upgrades for the boot lid, engine cover, all interior lights. Then he has some really nice carbon fiber interior and exterior pieces I'm going to buy.

I have all the lights you are getting from ray, they look really good IMO... One piece of advice, when you are putting in the front drls make sure they are plugged in the right way, check to see that the light bar comes on, then push them back in. They fit very tightly and are really hard to get out once you put them in.

Thanks for the advice. I don't have the "card" to remove them, but will a credit card work?

Yea that should work... I didnt have one eigthor and was having trouble getting them out so I went up to the dealership and they helped me.... I just didn't want to screw something up...you can probably figure it out though. BTW that Carbon fiber stuff gets expensive quick... I got the door pulls, thing around light switch, and thing around ignition... I wanted to get the parking brake and shifter, but that's like another g, so I'm probably gonna do that last (after intake/plenum/chip).

Are the HID replacements 6000K or another 'color'? I don't see the lights on the ROTtec site though. I replaced all of the other interior, frunk, engine, side and plate lights with LEDs and love them, but wouldn't mind replacing the HID bulbs.

Not sure but I think they're 6k. I'll confirm when I get them. I'm going to get all the rest and make it all uniform

I received the packages from ROTtec today and right on time as promised. I get the car out of the shop today from having the H&R coilovers installed and I can't wait to see the new stance and then install the lights!

I'll post pictures tomorrow. Here are the goods:

LED Side Markers and LED License Plate lights

For added measure I scored a set of gloss black headlight trim pieces. I need to polish the headlights first before install.

I have a set of rear led as pictured in this post for sale. 4 months old. Work perfectly and no issues. I got a set of Depo's as they look more OEM. If interested send PM and I'll consider all offers. I will even pay for freight to any US address.

Thanks.
