Changing tire sizes

Original tires in my 2009 997 were 8.5 x 19 in front and 295 x19 in rear. I'm looking to go to 245's in front and 305's in back?

Anybody have an opinion on how this affect the ride?

What car do you have? C2 C4 Turbo?

Are you looking to stay on 19's? if so, 235 fronts and 305 rears, 245 if you go to a 20" rim.

You can put a 245.35 on an 8.5" wheel but a 9" is better. Take a look at Tire Rack in the tire specs to see what sizes fits your wheels.

PM Damon and he should be able to help.

you need to stay with 235/35 because 245 will be higher

If the OP goes 245.35.19 with 305.30.19 the diameters will be within the delta window. I used the same on my 09 C2S without issue.

This is what I often consult for my tire size changes. You can play with the width and aspect ratios to optimize your desired outcome.

Car is a 2009 C2S. I'm looking to go to 9" rim in front, with 245 vs 235. Just making sure no one's had a negative experience with that set-up?

Alan C. that sounds good, I will be doing that setup most likely in my CS2 also.
Thanks for the help.
