Need Help Figuring Out Wheel Offset
Need Help Figuring Out Wheel Offset
My stock wheels have the wheel width and what I assume is the offset cast into the wheel where the valve stem is located. The numbers are 55 front and 67 rear. If this is the offset of the F/R wheels, does a lower number move the wheel out or in when compared to the stock offset? Thanks!!
To measure backspace you would put a straight edge on the rear (inside of tire) wheel and measure the distance from the straight edge on wheel in to flange (which meets with rotor) which supports lug bolts. This gives you your b/s distance.
Yes the numbers in the wheels are the offsets. The fronts are +55mm and the rear are +67mm.
Lower number means pushed further out. As long as the wheel width is the same.
Look up offset calculator on the net to determine how it will change based on offset and also wheel width.
