2006 C4s feeler question
2006 C4s feeler question
Hi guys, I need some opinions from people that know.., I have a 2006 C4s with 40k on the clock. It gets waxed semi monthly and is always garaged. It is a daily driver and is in pristine condition. No mods other than clear bra and window tint. I have been hankering for a ragtop and need to know what you guys think I can get for the car. No door dings, no curb rash, no accidents, no fender benders. 6 speed.
Thanks for your input

The car is loaded. Unless I am incorrect, all C4s' came fully loaded with nav, power everything, Bose with 13 speakers, etc etc etc... Mine has leather but not on the dash. I had the Dension iPod adapter connected to the Bose system by the dealership and in dash you can play one cd at a time as well.

I stand corrected. Mine has the 13 speaker Bose, nav, full power leather seats both driver and passenger, sport chrono, black on black, 19 inch lobsters with p-zero's not yet to wear bars, tires are loud though, I hear Michelin is a quieter tire, clutch replaced by dealership before I bought it at 30k miles. Still has 18 months left on full extended warranty I purchased, all services performed by dealership. No major issues at all. It has been bullet proof thus far.
Wholesale Bluebook = $48, Retail Bluebook = $56. Give or take a few thousand for individual judgement (that's in good condition, add $2 to wholesale for excellent condition and deduct for new tires).

If by BLUEBOOK you mean KBB...my experience tells me their pricing is really out of wack, sometimes good sometimes bad lol
Nonetheless as the old saying goes "it's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it"

+1 on its only worth what someone will pay for it. I know dealers are very short on used car inventory - take it to your local Porsche dealer and see what they offer as an outright wholesale buy amount. This will give you a number to start with.
Thanks to everyone for your responses. As always .., this forum is enlightening. I have decided to sell at the 53k range based on condition of the car. Again.., thank you for your input.
Your old saying is correct.
. Prices on the 997 has gone up.
53k will be a fast sell. assuming it in in great condition, you should ask for 55k and settle for 53k at least
used market is red hot. check ebay and craigslist as a reference. KBB value is often much lower than market.
