997 seat question...

I just bought a pair of 997 GT3 seats and will be fitting them into my 993. They are the manual/power seats with the seat back being powered.
Question is....what is the small yellow plastic jack under the passenger seat? Lots of wires in and out of it. The driver seat does not have one, so it's not the power connection for the recline operation.
Possibly the computer diagnostic port?

Thanks

i believe that is the airbag sensor to tell if the passenger weighs enough for the airbag to be active (i.e. not a small child). on the 997, there is a light/sensor on the center console that reads: "PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF" and will light if the weight is not enough.

I thought that might be it but there is a jack or terminal that would accept some sort of plug in.....

Gotcha......Just seems strange that it would be mounted to the seat, that is very easily moved to another car, like my 993. If it was mounted to the floor pan it would always be with the car!
