thanks guys, i don't know what i did to deserve this but i've GOT ot figure it out and do it again...i have never enjoyed driving any car, and i've driven a few nice ones, as much as this, just a massive wow, the noise, my god, the noise, i disconnected the relay that opens up the flaps on the sport chrono exhaust, so they are basically open all the time, and when you disconnect that relay the sound is louder, fuller, more constant,,, when it is connected there is a range in the revs where it shuts down during acceleration...larmschutz or someother govmt reg to keep every one under the proverbial thumb, but with my disconnect it is awesome constantly, and just keeps getting better, it is actually more rewarding/fun to slowly wind up thru the gears, no blast offs, just nice constant build of a beautiful motor and gear and chain and valve noises and god knows what else...oh , and then there;s my screaming in delight, the other old gent that owned it always wore calfskin gloves when he tinkered with the car and gloves to drive...no blue jeans in the car or other clothing that might discolor the natural browm leather,,,i'm glad i'm glad, so glad so glad so glad a la the cream, erik, jack, ginger, i am SO stoked, had to tell someone, wifey not really
"there", think i'll see if i can get the X-51 plate, most porsches have 997, 996 911mmmm kinda limited here, and with this relay disconnected i don't need gundo, tubi any big dollar jobs, it sounds AWESOME, and you don't need to beat it, just slowly accelerating and decelerating is a beautiful thins, you can hear many things in the exhaust note,i won't bore you any longer...

Is the full time PSE legal in Germany? I thought that is why they had the switch---because the loud button is not legal in Germany unless you are at highway speed. I am no expert; I just thought I saw that on the forum somewhere.

The X-51 is a great option if you can find it second hand.

i know that is why they have the button, i will just have to keep an eye out, and if i get stopped, i claim to be stoopid...thats the way i bought it, maybe a fix it ticket, and i can fix it , but until then...

The sound is intoxicating, especially when the top is down. I understand the need to share your excitement. That's it I'll go for a drive tomorrow, l am so weak.
