I have owned both and prefer my C4S. Both were 2009's with PDK.
The looks and stability- grip of the C4S wins out for me.

Thanks for all of the replies so far. Today I am taking the wife to a local Porsche dealership to sit in them and if they have a 6 speed and PDK, drive both to make sure she is comfortable with her choice. Also, what year did they start incorporating the reflector between the tail lights? Or is it all 997 C4S's? Personally, I like that look and the little bit of extra reflector it provides to the rear can't be a bad thing with all of the people rear ending these cars.

Had one 05 997 and two 997.2 4S
The 997 two wheel drive pushed in the front , the 4s does not .
There is a reason the turbo is four wheel drive !!!!
P.S. love my rear reflector !!!
Nuff said !!!!!

Thank you all for your feedback; I truly appreciate it. Yesterday I took the wife to Livermore (CA) Porsche and she was able to drive a C4S 6 speed and a PDK car. It will be a C4S 6 speed. I listed her MBZ for sale and as soon as it sells, I begin the serious hunt for an '09 or '10 C4S coupe in white, silver or maybe grey with a stick and some other goodies. The car will have to be either CPO or come with the extended warranty or be able to have the warranty added. Looking for something with 15K miles or less approximately and preferably all stock.

On a funny note, she jumped into the C4S and drove lit like she had just parked her old 993. Ran through the gears with no problem and came back to the dealership and parked it perfectly like she had done it a million times. She looked at me, smiled and said, "So why have I been driving a Mercedes and missing out on all of this"?
