Hi folks..........

My new DPE wheels will be here very soon. I have a 2012 GTS and was wondering if I could get some advice with tires.

The car is not a daily driver and is strictly a toy for me. I "might" hit a track day or two down the road but I mostly use it for some nice drives. Some are a bit aggressive

I also ordered quite a few other goodies to be installed at the same time. However, I am torn with tires.

I did a search and found all results to be scattered. Turbo, to c4s, to c2s all seem to have different inputs for tires.

Michelin or Michelin... I usually only run Pilot Sport A/S Sport but you don't say where you're from so if you don't need all weather the PIlot Super Sports are great. I'm currently running Bridgestone Potenza S02's and they are easily,on par with the Pilots.

Super Sports. I love them for street and track. They held up great in higher temps this last Saturday on the track.

 

I put a set of Pilot Super Sports on my 11 GTS and am very happy with them.

 

+3 for the Super Sports - love 'em. I went through 2 pairs already (street plus heavy track use). As an aside, I think Pirelli may have finally gotten its act together on the P-Zeros because the ones on the 991S are much better than I remember on the Targa.

Anyway, for my money it's an easy call on the Super Sports.
