It would probably depend on cost for me. Didn't Suncoast have a fix kit to correct the harness pinch problem?

What are they quoting to replace the cable?

yes there is an updated cable the cable it self is not expensive its like 100 bucks its the the labor about 3 to 4 hrs the mechanic would change the starter at the same time so only difference in price is the actual cost of the starter about 260 .
