Question for 997.2 Targa owners
When your roof is all the way open, how much space is there between the bottom of the roof panel and bottom of the rear hatch window. When my roof is open is looks like there is a good five more inches the roof could move down. If it did so, the already limited view through the doubled windows would be substantially better. (Also the opening overhead would be that much larger.) It looks like there's additional track it could travel on.
I asked my dealer if my roof was lowering as much as it could and if this could be adjusted. He just gave a glance at the car and said, "Looks like it's supposed to look." Just want to be sure he's right.

I'll check it out. Mine also doesn't go all the way back fully. I don't think the view out of the rear-view mirror is obstructed by the position its in, but I'll have to validate.
I'm assuming you want a measurement from the back side leading edge of the movable panel, to the seam where the rear hatch glass meets the carpet.

Yes, thanks. That's the type of measurement I'm after. In my rear view mirror, that wide, bottom of the roof panel sits squarely in the middle of my view in the rear view mirror.
Thenks, rkuo. Looking in the YouTube direction clearly confirms that my roof looks like all others and this implies, I suppose, that the roof travel is not adjustable.
