The Keyed 997s gets redone

Hey hope your all well....The car got keyed a few weeks ago and is in the shop getting repainted....I decided to do some mods trim changes while it's in the shop....Just wanted your input...Everything has been paid for and already shipped or in the process of.....Nonetheless just want to see what board members think....

Attached are pics of the car.....The Insurance would not remove the front and rear windshield so the body shop could get in the crevices....But their doing something called "roping".......If I'm not satisfied the insurance company said I can have the car repainted again...So we shall see.....Check out the mods below:

-Front Aero Kit bumper
-Tech Art sideskirts
-Rear Vorsteiner Bumper II
-20" Ruger Mesh Rims (Powdercoated Gloss Black) with red pinstripe
-NHP Headers
-APR ECU Upgrade

I'm looking for some BlackChrome exhaust tips to replace the existing Fabspeed X-51 style (AWE, Fabspeed or Techart) So if someone want's to sell their used one's please let me know....

In roping they force a length of small diameter rope between the body and the rubber seal. The rope is pushed back into the crevice and this results in the seal being lifted off the body. When the car is painted the paint will be under the edge of the seal. When the paint has dried they pull the rope out and the seal goes back against the body. If done properly you don't notice the respray. However, if someone lifts the rubber seal it's pretty easy to tell that it has been painted.

With all of the work being done on your car the fact that the shop is roping the windshield probably doesn't matter as long as they do a good job.

If you want a preview, this is how it's going to look like in the back without the spoiler. However, my car is a cab. Credit to David Coyne Photography!
