Thinking of adding a spoiler to the rear end of my 997. Love the hips and lines of the car and am slightly concerned that the spoiler could jeopardize that. I like the duck tails, but not sure the retro look would work with my current mods, so I'm leaning more towards the TA Type III spoiler. Anyone have similar concerns before adding a spoiler and reactions to the mod after the addition?

 

I agree with your first observations.... not to spoil.

 

If your car was bone stock then the addition of a spoiler might look out of place. However, with the amount of visual mods you have done, I think a spoiler would complete the package.

 

+1 definitely think you're missing a spoiler, I think it'd look great

 

+ 1 spoiler would go with the rest of your mods

A spoiler on your car will look just like the spoiler on every other 911. Check out the hundreds of photos on line and if you like them there, you will like them on yours.

 

Checking around to see if the TechArt's fixed wing diminishes airflow and subsequent air intake benefits...leaning towards a wing though.
