Question New To Everything

Hi all,

As the title says, I am new to everything here except for an interest in fine automobiles. I just bought my 1st Porsche, a 2006 C2 Cab this weekend. Flew down to Atlanta, picked it up and drove back to Northern Virginia using the scenic route. What a blast!

I'll apologize in advance for any new guy mistakes or repetion but as they say the only dumb question is the one not asked. I've joined PCA Potomac region but they say it will be 3 weeks to get activated and I've always been the impatient type.

If I was to prioritize mods what would the collective thoughts be on which to do first, keeoing in mind that a $6k exhaust system isn't in this month's (years's) budget.

Thanks in Advance,

Stephen

if i were you, the first thing i'd mod is the nut behind the wheel - take some DE courses or autocross. learn to drive it as is, THEN mod once you know what you're doing.

also, i am a potomac member too. great group and they put on great DE events. consider the fall HPDE.

Guess I'm just overly enthusiastic! Where can I find info on the Fall HPDE? If it's on the Potomac website I haven't found it yet.

on the site, https://www.pcapotomac.org/ under "Programs --> DE --> Registration" and you will see it under "Event Registration" after you log on. it's on 9/22. or you can find it here too under the general event listing, https://www.pcapotomac.org/index.php...=322&Itemid=36

if you have any problems, you can always contact one of the of officers under "About Us --> Club Officers".

hope to see you out there!

+1 on going to the DE. That's the best investment you can make. Just make sure your insurance carrier covers it. Mine does.
