My dealer keeps insisting that my July build will be available BY mid August if not a bit sooner. Here's to hoping!

Just an FYI, I was going to order the sport shifter but having had an aftermarket B&M and seeing this http://www.evoms.com/porsche%20ec%20art%20test.htm (click on 997 on the left than on shifter on the top of the following page) I am going with the EVOMS unit. Bit less expensive adn my guess is that it is a whole lot better.
thanks, do you know if this is shorter than the factory short shifter?

punker, I don't know if the shifter is higher, lower, same height as the stock shifter but judging by the comparison of the plastic OEM piece and the billet EVOMS unit, they look pretty close if not identical in height...

You can email mike at evo mmyers@evoms.com sure he would be happy to answer any questions.

They are doing a stage 4 (intake/exhaust/reflash) on an "S" cab so I'm going to try and stop in and check that out, I'll see if I can't see/feel a car that has the shifter on it.

Synergy,

Am I right that the July build is late Aug/early Sept delivery?
That is what my told me but I am getting a bit concerned with rumors on the web stating that Cayman and 05 cabs will push our July releases out significantly. My order status is "pending" which is concerning me right now BIGtime. My dealer tells me that everyone is in the same boat and they don't have a firm date right now.

Boooooo

Selling my '01 M3 and my V8 Touareg. I just finally realized that my M3 was just sitting there every day and I was driving my Soccermom-mobile. So, I am finally making the plunge.

I am in Dallas and just waiting on Park Place to give me my dream.

I don't even think I have seen what the rear wiper looks like on the 997. I guess I just checked the box thinking that it would be easier to see out the back if it's clean. I dunno...... I really didn't put much thought into that option.........
