Targa hatchback won't open

Just made it back home from weekend trip in the Carolina's. Went to unload the Targa4s from the hatchback but it would not open for anything. Don't see any error lights on in car either. The rocker and they key are both unresponsive when trying to pop open the hatchback.

Any others experience or suggestions in regards to this?

That would be my guess. Targa roof not fully closed.

There is a microswitch which controls it. My key wouldn't open it but the switch below the door did. The dealer replaced the switch and all is well

I'd open the targa roof a bit and then close it again. The system locks out the hatch opening if it senses the roof is open (or the sensor reports it as not closed). It could be slightly open, or just a stuck sensor. I've had that happen on occasion, though once I noticed I had the roof cracked just a bit and then felt stupid.

I open the targa roof completely and shut it. This alleviated the problem and the hatchback popped open. Thanks for advice.
