Hey Jim,
Thanks for posting this in memory of him! I had a big thing written up last night but couldn't bring myself to post it BUT since you did......
For those who did not know Vinnie.....
Let me start by saying he was one of the most polite and courteous people I have met.I remember the day he phoned me to buy my supercharger. He was so excited to buy it BUT had to have me install it for him....THAT was the deal!
I agreed.....
We had a ton of laughs that first day and night. He was running around my garage like a kid.I had him cleaning parts of his car that he had never seen.I told him that any dirty parts would NOT get re-installed,so I had him cleaning all of the under panels with a brush, wiping down the engine bay.....heck I even had him wax his brake callipers and inner fenders,LOL!
All of that to keep him out of my hair and doing that,I damn near had the charger installed in one very long day,LOL!
Vinnie had an amazing sense of humour and a great outlook on life.He allowed me to keep his car for weeks,so that I could drive it and make sure it was all good for him.....so I guess you could say that he was a trusting guy!
I have been very busy with work and building a house and feel bad that I didn't get to talk him lately......and now he is gone!
So Vinnie if some way that you can read this.....I miss ya' Buddy,I miss the laughs and BS we use to talk about! I hope that you realize the void you have left in sooo many peoples lives(especially after reading your facebook page)....
I will never forget the good times with ya'......save me the passenger seat for a ride when we meet again!
Here are a few pics of our install.......he was frickin' ...
