Ha. Funny stuff. Last month I traded my Boxster S on a new 997.2 S. My wife doesn't care about cars.... Thankfully.

I love the 911! But the new Boxster is a step in the right direction. I saw one out for the 1st time a couple of days ago, and it did look more than a bit like a Toyota MR-2 though- at least to my eyes.

I've been thinking the EXACT same thing since I first saw the pictures. A bit too much like an MR-2. I have not seen a new Boxster in person, though.

I drove the new Boxster S this weekend at the Porsche Traveling Road Show. What a great car! I own a Turbo S and, of course, there's no comparison with power but it was quick enough and handles like a champ! I had a blast grinding it out on the Autocross! Gorgeous design as well. Beautiful car. PDK very, very fast.
