Love the 911 but in 18 months I've driven it just 2100 miles. And I get to hear comments about it just sitting in the garage because she can't drive a stick.

So I ordered a loaded out BoxterS with PDK so she can drive it too. I had established a new hobby of upgrading leather parts for my 911, so in the end I should save with the Boxter. They are pretty sweet cars. Giving up the Iconic 911 is a bit of a hurdle to get over, but I'm committed now.

The new 981 is in a category of its own relative to its predecessor. Honestly seeing the 981 next to the 991 - I would consider it. It's a much more substantial Boxster - I think you're gonna do ok!

I respect your choice.. I was set on the new boxster before I just recently pulled the trigger on my 997.2 S. I think the new boxster looks better than the 997 cab, but liked the hardtop 997.2 better than the boxster. Congrats, it's a beautiful machine and you will be happy. The new boxster is a lot more masculine.
