Ugh. May have tinted too dark.
I have a black 997.2. No tint. Looked pretty classy but I've always tinted my cars. Went to tint shop, great guys. Said 95% of people go with 20% tint. So I did it. It looks good, but looks a little more "bad a$$" then im going for. Maybe should have done 35%. Thoughts anyone, and impressions on what you did with your tint would be helpful.
20% is a great look you will like it after a while it will grow on you !
Looks great, I would leave it. I have seen 20% on a black 911 before and it is not that dark. The picture you took does not do it justice. With 20% you can still see inside the car from the outside. When taking a picture of a car with tinted windows the tint always looks darker especially if the picture is not taken with a level on view.
I think it's ok since it's a black car, but make sure it's not dark enough to invite the PoPo for an impromptu check. What's legal in FL?
What color is the interior? IMO, the darker the interior, the lighter the tint needs to be because the darker interior helps 'darken' the look from the outside (even though darker interiors probably need more tint to keep the heat out). Light interiors need a darker tint since the lighter interior shade will show through the tint more.

I have a black on black 4S and I have 50% side + back and 67% windshield tint from Premier. I think 20% is a little too dark for my taste + practicality (I go to work at 4-5am usually).

Tom
Or are they tinting a lot of escalades, hondas, range rovers?
