Here in Los Angeles the cops would hit you up with a fine. They want to be able to easily look into your car to make sure you don't have something illegal.

back isn't bad, not digging the dark tint on the front windows though.

Looks great, I would leave it. I have seen 20% on a black 911 before and it is not that dark. The picture you took does not do it justice. With 20% you can still see inside the car from the outside. When taking a picture of a car with tinted windows the tint always looks darker especially if the picture is not taken with a level on view.

I think it's ok since it's a black car, but make sure it's not dark enough to invite the PoPo for an impromptu check. What's legal in FL?

What color is the interior? IMO, the darker the interior, the lighter the tint needs to be because the darker interior helps 'darken' the look from the outside (even though darker interiors probably need more tint to keep the heat out). Light interiors need a darker tint since the lighter interior shade will show through the tint more.

I have a black on black 4S and I have 50% side + back and 67% windshield tint from Premier. I think 20% is a little too dark for my taste + practicality (I go to work at 4-5am usually).

90% of people go with X. Do 90% of the customers drive a 911?

Or are they tinting a lot of escalades, hondas, range rovers?

This used to be true. Technology of window films have gone a long way, and today, you no longer have to go dark to reject heat. We install Spectra PhotoSync for most of the vehicles that come through here and the heat rejection capabilities are amazing. Blocks out 98.5% of infrared and will NOT interfere with signals....our tests below backs up the manufacturer's claims:
