Seat Memory

I have power seats in my Targa 4S and was wondering if there was a way for the seat to move all the way back when turning car off?

The intent would be for easier getting into and out of the Pcar.

I would want the seat to move back forward to my custom memory settings when putting key in ignition and driving.

I think it did that when I first got it. Now it only stays in my driving position. Any suggestions?

Here's an idea but it's not fully automatic so it may not be for you. Set driver 1 as your normal seat position. Set memory button 2 with the seat all the way back etc. Use this as a short cut to holding down the seat button. When you turn off the car press button 2 and your seat moves all the way back.

x3 me too. Easy way to do it. Plenty of time as I don't move the car for 2 minutes after ignition. Start the car, push your preferred setting. I use 1 and 2 for city or highway driving position. Three is for exit/entry.

Now that I have installed the smart top, the seat memory buttons don't work. If I press it starts to move but only for about 0.5 seconds and then stops. If I press the button again it does the same and it moves in 1/10" of inch increment with each subsequent press of the "1, 2, 3" seat memory button.

This is really annoying.

Did you try to turn off the memory seat feature on the smart top?
